I knew that Midland Arenas had a great reputation and they have more than lived up to it; I am delighted with my new arena, there are no words to describe just how thrilled I am or to do justice to them.

From start to finish, working with Craig and his team has been a pleasure. Their experience and meticulous eye for detail was invaluable in guiding me throughout the whole process  and ensuring that the finished arena is exceptional and exactly what I wanted. In fact its better than I ever dreamed of. Nothing was too much trouble and they continually went above and beyond to ensure that the arena was perfect. Everyone involved showed the utmost respect for my property and left everywhere looking amazing. Tom and Mark were a real pleasure to have around (my only complaint is that Craig wouldn’t leave them behind!!) I really wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Midland Arenas to anyone.

Midlands Horse Arenas have an excellent reputation for the quality of their work and service and with their extensive experience they are able to offer sound advice.

Having recently had a silica sand and carpet fiber arena built in a most diverse range of inclement weather I cannot praise enough the team of Lewis and Jack (with some additional help along the way) who worked on site and were incredibly hard working, helpful, polite, considerate and diligent. Despite constant rain along with frost and snow the site was left clean, smart and in good condition which was no mean feat.

The finished arena met all my requirements and rides very well.

My arena has been completed this week I cannot praise and thank Midland Arenas enough. The team were very professional,competent, reliable and extremely considerate to my neighbours.  Brian my much loved cheeky cob and I are looking forward to having fun (and lessons) in our amazing arena.

The arena itself is outstanding and, as I mentioned on numerous occasions to your staff who constructed the arena, the standard and quality went far beyond what I had originally imagined. We met Craig by chance when we were looking for a contractor to do the ground works for a small stable block. We had lined up three companies to quote and Midlands Horse Arenas was the last of the three. It was obvious from the first meeting that Craig was the one to go with – he clearly had a great deal of experience and knew more about what we needed than we did!

He and his team have consistently produced high quality work – from that first concrete pad and ground works, through driveways, a car park, and the simply stunning 60x30 arena, which is admired by everyone who comes to use it. As well as these and other major projects, Craig and his team do some of our field maintenance and all of our hedge cutting.

Our experience of Craig and the Midlands Horse Arenas team is that they know what they’re doing, they’re good at it and they take pride in doing it properly. They are willing to explain, to discuss and to take on and help develop ideas.  We can’t imagine finding a better team to work with.

I have always wanted an arena but never thought I would be in a position to have my own built. With this dream becoming a reality I made sure that I educated myself into what makes a good arena, I couldn’t afford to get it wrong, have it flood, freeze, be too deep, too dusty, too much recoil. We had spent everything on our property and the monies left over for the arena and stables were all we had left. I only had one chance to get it right.

I invited over 7 companies to visit the site and the whole process was enough to make you lose faith in being able to achieve your dreams!  I felt some were just trying to pull the wool over my eyes (but I had done my homework), Some saw our property and seeing ££ signs in their eyes gave ridiculous prices. Some I just didn't like – always trust your gut, one was just asked to leave!

And then I met Craig at Midlands.

You know when you just get a good feeling? Craig didn’t talk down to me, was able to answer all of my questions and went above and beyond to take me to sites he had completed.

Throughout the whole build, Lewis (running the site) and the guys’ work ethic was outstanding! They were always on time, always went above and beyond, always listened to me and answered my questions. Consistently aware of their surroundings and considerate of the horses and the fact that this was our home.

For us, there is no other company. No matter how small a job in the future, Craig is always our first call point of call for first refusal.

We first met Craig from Midlands Horse Arenas in January 2016 when we were looking for a contractor to build our horse yard and a 20 x 40 menage. We also needed lots of fencing to reconfigure our paddocks. Craig studied our plans and listened to our ideas very carefully. But he really came into his own when he then made suggestions that really improved our initial ideas. Because of Craigs experience and professionalism we decided to go with Midlands Horse Arenas. We also went to see some of Craigs previous work which he arranged and accompanied us on viewings. We have since had other potential customers come and view our yard. One local potential customer after a visit to our yard went with Midlands Horse Arenas for their professional 30 x 60 hire arena.  That arena is now a very popular and successful equestrian hire arena. Used for private hire, riding club hire and riding clinics and camps. Our work started in May 2016 and the guys that worked on our project were there every day and were the same guys from start to finish. They were punctual, polite and always approachable. We were kept up to date with absolutely everything and Craig made many visits to site throughout the duration of the work. We have since had Craig and his team back for ongoing work and improvements since we bought more land. Craig’s work is first class.  He promised that the arena would never flood as his drainage system for the arenas are key. It never has.  Arenas and stable yards are not cheap to instal, so it is important to get it right first time.  I cannot recommend Midlands Horse arenas enough, whether it is for private personal use or professional business use.

Midlands Horse arenas installed a new stable block, including footings, water supply etc, As well as a fabulous ménage. The team were very professional, did everything they said they were going to, on time & within budget. My ménage is fab, never freezes nor floods & rides beautifully. Would I recommend Midlands Horse Arenas? – I already have. If I were to ever move and needed more facilities built this is the team I would call

The whole process from start to finish was very professional. The team kept me up to date on everything that was going on through the whole process, we now have the most amazing menage & we love it!

We first met Craig Lewis six years ago when we were in the market for a complete refurbishment of our existing arena. We had several issues with the drainage so needed someone who could talk us through the options available to us. We had several quotes but Midland horse arenas came out on top, Craig was the only one who spent time with us explaining everything in detail and making sure we understood, he is reliable with a down to earth no nonsense approach, he listens to his customers and has a wealth of knowledge which he shares with you adding his own ideas where necessary. He wasn’t the cheapest nor was he the most expensive, but with Craig you get first class service, he personally oversees all work carried out by his amazing team who work with you at every stage. Our yard can be very busy at times but they were ever mindful of this and considerate in working round any given situation. We have a fabulous arena and have never had any drainage issues, since it was commissioned and is used every day. Since forming our relationship with Craig we have since had him back on several occasions for fencing and also erection of stables and grounds maintenance including hedge trimming. Whatever the size of the job he can apply himself to the standard required. Craig really enjoys what he does and it shows.

After a lot of research, site visits and quotes we decided to use Craig and his team for our menage and stable construction. Since the first project in 2018 we have subsequently used them again for multiple jobs including a further stable block, groundworks and other general construction. They are reliable, trustworthy and the quality of the work has been of a high standard. We have no hesitation in recommending Craig and his team
